Singapore ends. The arguments don't.
McLaren bring the drama
A last-lap sprint collision is all the invitation Jack and Bayley need to reopen the Lando versus Oscar argument. Was the risk worth it for a handful of points? The boys debate the move, Zak Brown's response and the pressure on McLaren with Red Bull just seven points behind in the constructors' standings.
Ferrari's Wellness Centre is struggling
Split tyre strategies, Lewis stuck behind Charles and a missed virtual safety car opportunity send the boys straight into Ferrari triage. They question why the team would hold Hamilton back when he believes he has the pace, and whether Leclerc is getting the priority. Supporting Ferrari continues to look like an emotional endurance sport.
Max the Backstappen
Sprint pole, sprint win, Grand Prix pole and the Sunday win: Verstappen gives Jack very little room to keep doubting him. Bayley backs Red Bull's recent progress to carry into next year, while the conversation turns to the partnership between Max and GP. Their radio connection is apparently approaching telepathy.
Kimi's first shot at the title
Antonelli heads to Austin with a chance to become the youngest world champion. Bayley walks through the results he needs from Russell and Hamilton, then explains how Kimi could still take the title without another podium. Naturally, the boys also find time for Mercedes' potential celebration shirts and Bono's world-title weightlifting routine.
The fight for second is getting good
Russell, Hamilton, Verstappen and Leclerc are separated by just 23 points. Jack puts Max ahead of George in his final standings prediction; Bayley keeps George in front. Russell's recovery from nineteenth to ninth gets its flowers, even if the boys would have liked the broadcast to show more of the overtaking.
A paddock detour, obviously
Africa talk and rumours about the season finale lead to calendar questions, logistics chat and another plea to see the full wets. Then the grid walk brings Kim Kardashian and Martin Brundle back into the conversation. There are towel jokes. There is a completely unnecessary amount of imagined dialogue.
Cinema, then some sleep
The rotating camera over Oscar's pit stop earns a proper reaction from both hosts. With Austin next and another triple-header on the way, the boys recommend banking some sleep during the week off. Bayley gets back to the Queensland sunshine; the Charles Leclerc argument is left with you.
