Baku, banter and bad decisions

Give Daniel his send-off

Bayley marks two years since Daniel Ricciardo's final F1 race with the farewell he reckons the Honey Badger deserved. Montreal, Monaco, Monza and the shoey all get their moment. There is still room for Daniel on the couch.

Proximity chat and a Monaco sprint argument

Max versus 100 gets the boys wondering which F1 driver they would mute first if cars had proximity chat. Then the 2027 calendar discussion takes over: enthusiasm for an Australian sprint, absolute disbelief at the idea of one in Monaco.

Baku bites back

The long run to Turn 1, the narrow castle section and the exit from Turn 16 set up the weekend. Jack and Bayley talk battery deployment, the tow and why a small mistake before that straight can haunt an entire lap. Their hope is simple: proper racing after Madrid.

Can anyone catch Kimi?

The boys weigh up Antonelli's form, Russell's response and whether Lando can bring McLaren back into the fight. The championship maths gets a little loose before they land on a fresh argument over Kimi being crowned by Mexico. That is a prediction, with the punishment still to be decided.

The King of Baku

Sergio Perez gets the crown as the boys turn Cadillac pit stop watch into first-points watch. They contrast his Baku record with Charles Leclerc's qualifying speed and race-day frustration, then ask whether experience could count for more than outright pace this weekend.

Williams, you have one job

Jack puts his faith back in James Vowles, Carlos Sainz and the boys in blue. The discussion centres on Williams' expected upgrades and whether Baku could shuffle the backmarkers into the points. There is a very blue consequence if that faith pays off.

Hadjar returns, then the gloves come off

The boys discuss Isack Hadjar's return and the knock-on seat shuffle for Liam Lawson and Yuki Tsunoda. Then come the podium picks, an extremely pointed last-place prediction and a reminder to check the Saturday race schedule.

Recorded on 22 September 2026, before the Azerbaijan Grand Prix. These are the boys' talking points and predictions. Check the official Baku weekend schedule for session times.
